Beauty Never Ends

15 January, 2008 (23:50) | art, nature, objects

I have been looking for a very, very long time to find a resource like this. And I mean, a very, very long time (like, from as far back as I can remember (*)).

Stumbled upon this coincidentally, but that’s what the InterTubes are for: navigate with a certain purpose and goal, get sidetracked by some hyperlinks, and then suddenly, boom!, you end up somewhere in a dark nook, delighted by your find. And realizing it is something you wanted to find your whole life, but weren’t aware of until you actually tripped over it. In the dark.

So here it is, examples of my future resource of many things of pleasure and joy:

woman

Eaters

Engraving

Flowers

Beaudelaire

And no, I’m not going to pass on the link this time. Sorry.

(*) “As far back as I can remember” is a bit of an oxymoron with me. Everyone knows that I have the memory of a Sky of Cloudless Sulphur… Nonetheless, I have perfect memory for visuals and music. Nah !

PS. The last image refers to a cover for one of my favourite books: Les Fleurs du Mal from Beaudelaire.

PSS. Sorry for the abundance of images. When you’re not on broadband. Otherwise, not sorry.
