This is basically how I would want my hifi to look (and behave) like, all under my 50-year-old motto Less is More, Simple is Better.
The stereo amplifier has the following controls (left to right):
- Headphones output jack.
- Mute button.
- Micro-stepped volume button. Push to power on/off; also switches off all connected peripherals.
- Four source select […]

First, pick up a guitar.
Then you will need a guitar amplifier…
This one - the all new Metasonix G1000 - is apparently all good, all tubes, and all evil. ←NSWF!

Well, fuck that.
Another hero gone.
Fond memories about a trip to Berlin with my best friend and another fella to Berlin, late seventies, early eighties perhaps… We just wanted to buy avant-garde records which weren’t available in Belgium at that time.
At least one Stockhausen record was one of the goals. And we succeeded. Gloriously.
Damn. Sad to see […]

A really nice 8-pager on Mark Mothersbaugh[Devo], Mutato, Raymond Scott’s Electronium and other related tidbits in LA Weekly. A must-read (*).
(*) Well, if you like that kind of things. If not, may I suggest reading up on parthenogenesis instead ?
