Israel

At the end of November, about thirty close friends & relatives of Anne and Meir were invited to a pre-marriage celebration trip to Israel. We left on a Thursday night in Belgium, and came back from Tel Aviv on the next Monday morning.
Anne and Meir went to great lengths to make our stay - a first to Israel for many amongst us - as enjoyable as possible. Not only had they arranged accomodation for us in the American Colony Hotel in Jerusalem (very nice!), but they also organised semi-guided trips to the old city of Jerusalem, the Negev desert and the Dead See, the Holocaust Museum, a visit to a winery, and finally a short trip to Tel Aviv.
It was an amazing trip — especially the 4×4 trek through the desert was awesome… not in the least because my personal photographic interest in desolate places (no more than three colours in a landscape photo !) was one of the most satisfying travel experiences in my life.
So here is a small gallery of some photos I took…
Note: all of the photos are available in super-high resolution (+A3), and some of the panoramics can be printed up to +A2 size. Also, a lot of detail is lost in the low-rez pics here, but I guess you’ll get the general idea…
